17 Days on the Road: Backstory

So, yeah.... Just realized back in August, I won't say what year, I promised to start posting photos of the 17 Days on the road trip. Well here's step one... Good ole Google Maps & A Backstory

Spring, Midterms, allergies & oh yeah... Spring Break

While I was technically mainly an engineering student at this time, being part of the leadership of the Photo Club on campus meant a good part of my freetime ended up leaning more towards the art side. As such when it was finally time to start thinking what to do it wasn't all that surprising that "Photogenesis's" plan became mine.

A Roadtrip to the SPE National Conference (https://www.spenational.org/). Yeah... we're nerds I know, but honestly who wouldn't want to check out San Fran right? And with that we were set, with our Spring Break actually falling the week before the conference it was about a week of leisurely travel west. Catching up with friends near Houston, Lunch & checking out SXSW with an Alum in Austin. Speedo burying runs across the desert (Gotta love Toyota 6's). A brief stay in Vegas, crashing on couches in LA, Sanfran & finally making our hotel in Little Japan for the Conference week. And finally finishing up with a wild 36hr dash back on 80 to make it back for 8am Class Wednesday.
