Is the dot even moving? Are we truly that tiny in the world outside the GPS?!?!? There's always just been something about the way the West just seems to extend on forever that draws me in. While the endless 6hr drive through corn & wheat to get to Chicago seems far the truly endlessness of the deserts out West are something else entirely. It's both exciting & terrifying to realize even with the speedo pegged in the Sienna how little it looks like we've traveled on a map.
