Wait wait wait wait! Don't read my comment before looking at the two different sites; don't let my opinion effect yours. I have an atrocious sense of style and a strange sense of art, so formulate your own opinion first!

I like site A, with the logo and the film strip-esque pictures below it. It could use some spiffing, mayhaps the implementation of Mark's uber logo and making the thingy there look more like a filmstrip, and maybe reoragnization of the categories, but its good.
It has three advantages over the other website:
The other site doesn't have any words, (other than your name) which leads the viewer to ambiguity and uncertainty as to what is really what. Like, if I click the picture of ashley, what category will I get? Candid shots, your friends, glamour shots? The next one over, does that lead to school pictures, college shots, or group pictures? The next one looks like nature shots to me, but the first picture is a still life. The wedding one is hard to get wrong, but what does the vampire baby lead to? (You, apparently.) So in summary; it has clarity.
Second point is that it doesn't really look like a website. Artistic license and being different is nice, but (I think) only when you're expecting it. When you first go to the site, you see a rather strange picture that doesn't exactly welcome you to click anything; rather confusing.
Third, somewhat related to to the second point, it doesn't follow "Web 2.0" standards that people expect. Centering, primary colors, emblazoned buttons, stuff. Your current site doesn't have 2.0 fever yet either, but the potential for it to become 2.0 enabled is much greater than that of the other site.
That all said, one thing I'm not liking much about either site is the black. Black doesn't really put people in a welcoming mood, and... well its black. Not my favorite color (though its really classy if you have it in different shades.)
Site B does look good, but I think Site A is much more functional. It gives a professional look from the start, and you can find what you're looking for right away. I wouldn't toss Site B's design, I would save it for something else down the road. It still looks cool, I like the whole abstractness of it, but for the homepage of danbo photo co, I think it should stay Site A.
Hey Dan! I like Site A...Site B was really cool, loved the lighting techniques and just overall visualization, but Site A was more 'user friendly' and very professional looking!
