this is nice, the mom's left foot is awkward and would have been better if she angled it down towards/with her right leg, but other than that it's good.
Here's that pic I've blabbered on about, about 3 weeks ago. About? So the horizontal is pretty off, and various things could have used centering (poster, book, elbows if possible) but otherwise I like it. So, this is just in response to the pic that you took down to replace with this one in you CPS application... so on to this picture.
Alyssa's got a point, it is kinda weird if you stare at it. You could burn the ground under foot to get rid of the highlight, and that would create the illusion that the foot is actually touching the ground. (Maybe it already is, I dunno. Heels are damnable things.) But yeah, burn. Otherwise, very good picture. Excellent focus, they really pop out from the background. Might also want to get rid of the yellow leaf in the river in the wayyyy background, but minor point. Excellent pose. I like the muted colors in the background, though the right side could use a little bit of darkening, especially the trees. Just a tad, though.
