YLPSDW's first Trip to the Chi

A few from the trip to Chicago last Saturday... I promise to write and explain these and the previous posts later today after I finish up some work :) Meanwhile feel free to check out the fun almost Chronological line of events from the day.

While we didn't beat the train to Aurora We did manage to beat it to the City by 20 minutes and were able to hop the Redline and appear in Chinatown before the Metra even hit Union. We just kinda wandered around browsed through the public library, and learned of Hugo and his mothers lucrative and questionable trade business, lolAnd off to the heart we go, a nice hip shot of Elliot and Renee waiting on the L as we continue our journey into the City of Chi.. I like how this one came out, the hair on her and the expressions are just plain funny, kinda wish the framing was more to the right.

One day we are definitely going to do a well lit session on a moving escalator. It's going to be epic, awesome and fun.... I hope

A very nice series Dan. The falling snow lends everything a nice atmosphere, along with the coffee. The shot of him running down the hallway is pretty cool. I wonder what those people are on strike for... especially with this economy.

Thanks Alex,

The snow was a nice touch, I really wish I had been able to get out in it more this season with work like this, more of the fun portrait work that I like. Haha, oh yeah man, Hugo running in the L station was hilarious. Who knows man, there's always some one on strike in Chi city it seems.
