"The Fierce Sisters" and fam, lol

Haha, wow..... today was a nice break from the constant work at Michaels with a nice deversion.... One of the most entertaining family portrait session I've had the pleasure to shoot, lol. Here's a few from the shoot, and one of those setup/foolin around shots that, came out....

A shot I got off while waitin for the buffer to clear, Yay for 6 year old 1Ds..... I shot at ISO 800 and sadly underexposed for a decent bit of the shoot but the camera didn't let me down. After reviewing everything the noise wasn't the Awful that I was expecting, Go Old School... I shot the whole thing with a 1D + 50 1.4 and 1Ds + 16-35 2.8 connected to poverty wizards firing two SB-28's straw gelled for additional warmth Umbrellad back high camera right and left. And then the result of bout 30mins of me trying to get back to using photoshop agian.
Re-Edit of the edit, I cleaned up the layer mask on the highpass filter layer to remove that halo effect.

Thanks Alyssa, Yeah I'll have to take a look at that. I think its from when I did the highpass layer on hardlight blend mode.... Just gotta paint it out in a layer mask, I'll through a re-edit up later tonight.

Nice series of pictures. Too bad the expression of the girl on the right doesn't exactly match the other one's. Oh well - very well produced.

Thanks Alex, yeah oh well... It was just one of those shots from the hip really.... They were kinda stiff so I told em to have some fun, laugh, loosen up a lil bit before we continued with the shoot so they didn't look so stiff and scared, I mean I'm not that intimidating am I? (Thats rhetorical, only answer is nice :) ). And lol, this happened, hmmm, maybe liquify can change that expression, lol, man I need to get schooled on Photoshop, I really need to learn alot.
