Man these last two weeks of summer really went fast. But it's been a good time, filled with Cardboard Boat races, Soccer games, finally getting around to sorting and post processing old pictures and working to finish the car. All along with the obligatory work and school classes and general randomness of summer and college.

Like many, Carlinville's Drive-In now too sits vacant and empty waiting....

One of the hundred or so Outlets that range about the old Drive-In.

How she was when I got here last winter, all clean and nice on this side.

About midway through the project of, Tape, The Ledger, Spray Paint and hours of fun, haha....

The outcome of all that fun and work, a car with out rust and paint chips, well till school starts...

Young Ulysses and Ivan Perez play on the "United We Stand" boat before it too meets its end in the recycle truck.

Ivan Perez gets a little help from the an Aurora city worker to help load the cab into the compactor.

Young Ulysses Perez looks on as the once proud "Pride of Provena" meets its end.

Giving it one last try, After capsizing Aurora Township boaters attempted unsuccessfully to get back to the race.

Mike Large and James Hill celebrate in their win in the Organization race representing Caterpillar. Who also was the largest Contributor this year, matching all employee donations dollar for dollar at the Aurora Plant and raising a total of over $200,000
.

And finally just a little something from a game I went to yesterday during my 3 hour lul is classes.
