Not my normal Sunday night

Ah, man this weekend turned out pretty sweet. It was filled with a fun and entertaining bike ride to Wa Wa Tech with the ever graceful company of Emily and Lauren, haha... And then our fun adventure to the Browns, Choo Choos Ice Cream Parlor, Bar Grill, Mexican Restaurant
establishment on the west strip on galena for some good chicken and further amazement at the wild multiplicity of this place. Followed up by random layin out in the yard, verbal attacks and hillarious fighting put on by the girls. When it was finally time to take the now sleepy Lauren home it was off to group speech work followed by the reason for this post. My interesting test shoot on many levels...... band shots, so my man chad asked if i could get a few shots of his band for him and well I really didn't have much else goin on so i agreed. This was so different on so many levels, and kind of exciting, New old camera with obscure Nikon settings, New dark enviornment, one lens and a way different subject. But hey I'll try something once.






Man Aurora's a sweet place, this was just outside Doug's idk, I just liked the colors, reflections and fighting of light. Same thing with the Chairs at browns. Oh yeah for the tech.... all shot with a D1 + 19-35mm f4 with a lil manual bounce on in the bar. This thing is sweet but doesn't operate anywhere near like my 1D/s's Hope everyone had a great weekend and hopefully could find something they liked in any of the many pictures on this blog thing. Please let me know how I'm doing for I know I have a lot to learn,
