Hmm... whats with the focus? Her shirt is much much more in focus than the cup, yet its kinda cropped off. Gotta admit though, that's an awesome shade of green.
Pure sky, for me anyway, isn't that interesting. The Wa Wa during Chem Class had some tree silhouettes that added nicely to the comp.
For me, sky pictures aren't all that interesting either if there's no definition of foreground and background, unless there's some crazy colors, which isn't the case here really.
the first one... my eye likes to convince me first hand that nothing's in focus, then decides to finally look to the right and oh! focus, but on the shirt... only a bit too late though. i guess i don't get it. i get that the focus wasn't the cup.. but the composition and point in which there is focus doesn't make sense to me.
haha, I hear you both..... I don't really know what I liked about them. I guess its the breaking from norm for the second one of Liz. It kind of makes you question the picture and the picture taker. Also I like the dark/warm feel to the picture. Maybe it just had to do with the fact that it was a decent night.
No for the sky one, I liked the gradients of the sky. The dark caused by my sad sad lens and the general warmth. I guess for both of them I just like the warmth which I really wish we had now.
