Maybe you could have put him in a more sinister position, like of the edge of your roof, overlooking the night, in a tree, upside down, or maybe even in your cupboard, peeking out from beneath a pot.
If you were going for a glamor shot thingy, could use a bit more light, although that might offend his vampiric sensibilities.
